Craw Road
Craw Road is a registered establishment with accommodation for five individuals with complex needs. The Care Commission inspects the service on a bi-annual basis. The house is a very large semi-detached property and is home to two men and three women who enjoy a high standard of care from a skilled staff team.
Craw Road is an approved learning environment for Student Nurses from Glasgow Caledonian University.
The residents each enjoy a package of care specifically designed to meet their individual needs. They all have their own bedrooms and are fortunate to have a Sensory Room on the premises. The residents enjoy a variety of social activities like swimming, bowling, and horse riding and have various short breaks and holidays abroad
As part of a McFarlane Homes newsletter, a relative wrote “To me it was a huge relief. I know the quality of care is second to none and they are ‘making a difference’ to peoples lives. To my mum the initial loss was very difficult to cope with, however seeing how happy, content and well cared for my sister is, she knows it was the right thing for them both. I feel we are a very privileged family to find somewhere my sister can be herself, be happy and well cared for, and yet still be a very important part of our family.”
